“Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they’ve been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It’s an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It’s a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” — Muhammad Ali.
When I was a young child I used to watch boxing with my dad and my favourite boxer of all time was Muhammad Ali. Why? Through out his career Muhammad Ali was allways facing adversity. He was continuously put down, shut out, mocked and out right made fun of and yet nary once did he lose his fabyoulously self gregarious and loving demeanor. ALLways you could count on Mohammad Ali to come up with some poetically brilliant paraphrase to both amuze and uplift you.
“Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee, I’m the cream of the crop, I’m Mohammad Ali.”
Even through his debilitating journey with Parkinson’s syndrome has Mohammad Ali maintained his graceFull strength of SELF LOVE.
It’s a lot easier [for most] when everything is ‘going our way’ and life is seemingly cooperating in perfect unity with our highest HAPPYness to feel fabyoulous and radiate SELF LOVE for all to see.
It is that we have been trained, when things are NOT going so well, when life is seemingly doing everything but cooperating with us, to suddenly lose sight of our SELF LOVE. We tend to, in these moments we have labeled as ‘failures’, ‘trajedies’ and the like, to catapult the negativity as high as can possibly be. Truth is, positive or negative, our minds tend to snowball any ‘mood’ we choose to foster/pay attention to. If we have a thought that propels us into fear, a situation that arises that stimulates any kind of negative association we tend to get lost therein. The same way we can get lost in the ecstacy of a given moment and ‘forget all of our worries’ while enJOYing that moment.
Thing is, snowballing the negative has been the reinforced ‘choice of action’ for thousands of years now, whilst the positive, always associated with cautionary warning:
“Don’t get to excited, you might lose your mind…….Don’t have too much fun now, you don’t want to do something you’ll regret……..Calm down, you’re acting ridiculous……Don’t count your chickens before they have hatched…..What goes up must surely come down……”
I’m sure you have a plethora of more cautionary warnings to us enJOYing our HAPPYness. Funny how that is, doncha think?
“Be careFull ya don’t wanna BE too happy”……as if there was such a thing?
Have you ever heard of anyONE complaining they were too happy? Life was too good? Things are going way tooooo amazingly in my life?
People complain about the things that aren’t going the way they want them to go, freely, openly, with just about anybody, and of course are generally careFull about talking about the things that are really going well. “Ya don’t wanna jinx it.”
We have given so much of our energy to reinforcing the negative, the fear in our thoughts, minds and physically manifest lives instead of it’s equally as likely alternative, the LOVE.
Truth is in the field of infinite possibility, which is pretty much every NOW – every new moment is a new opportunity of infinite potential, there is EQUAL PROBABILITY of EITHER something positive or something negative manifesting.
Truth is that everything that is, is ENERGY.
Truth is that where we are CHOOSing to focus our energy, where we are choosing to place our attention, the thoughts upon which we are choosing to listen to and allow occupation within our minds CREATE Energy Frequencies which DO have a causal affect upon that which we DO manifest, that which we experience, actualized physically.
Having said that, if putting our attention on the positive potential outcome has a known affect there upon, why would we choose to do anything else?
BEcause that is simply what we have been trained to do, fight or flight, surivival of the fittest…….we are ALL the ‘fittest’ in our own ONEderFully unique ways, the fittest to live our personal highest happyness, hence the diverse number of we.
Training is learned which means it can be unlearned.
True, the training we have been participating within we have as a universal family so been doing for 1000’s of years, but like any ‘bad habit’, fear is just that, a habit, a habit which CAN BE broken, released, healed. In releasing the ‘bad habit’ are we free to adopt a new healthier habit, the habit of choosing LOVE, choosing to see through LOVE’s eyes, choosing to BE LOVE.
In service to LOVE are we served by LOVE, as equally as has been our choice to serve fear.
We have all paid witness to what our choice in fear has manifest physically, both personally and through historical and media recollection of the atrocities that we are capable of whence serving our fears, the heights of destructiveness to which our fears may reach. How exciting IS it to ponder upon the heights to which our LOVE can reach and propel all of WE?
“Remember, all exterior to you and your heart is illusion.
The real you controlling this illusion lives inside your heart.
That is you!
Be in a state of love at all times!” ~~ Bill Ballard
One of the things I DO to assist me to alter my perspective from negative to positive, from fear to love IS to listen to music, inspiring, uplifting music.
Amy Steinberg’s “Exactly” IS a prime example of the kind of music I CHOOSE to listen to, providing the impetus, the little nudge my mind needs to let go of fear and let love.
enJOY and please DO share with ALL YOU KNOW and LOVE too.
