The “How To” for Facing your Fears

3. Spend time alone with you. {see essay, “The Mind’s Eye”}

Contemplate, Meditate, spend time with yourself and your thoughts.
Introspection is the key to soul consciousness. You do not come to know yourself by looking out unto the world, those eyes are used by your ‘ego’, handling the day to day issues of life. You need to use your mind’s eye, what some call your “third eye”, and spend time alone with your thoughts.
Talk to yourself ‘in your mind’, have a conversation with you!
Reflect upon: your desires, and why you have them, your goals, and what you are truly attempting to accomplish, and your current status in life and why you are there. Question all, and listen carefully. Do not disregard any thoughts. Analyze them all, question their existence, and so, your own.

Then, let go and simply, be, not just ‘simply’ though, lovingly.
Let go of all your preconceptions, learned reactions and interpretations, fears and uncertainties, and embrace love, for yourself, the Universe and all her wonderful inhabitants.

Disassociate yourself with the microcosmic details of life, and open yourself to the macrocosmic, see the whole, to which you are a member.

Meditation in any form is a fabulous vehicle for such a cause. There are many ways in which you can meditate. It is a common misunderstanding that meditation can only be accomplished by sitting in the traditional ‘yogi’ position and repeating the ‘om’.

Meditation in fact, can occur at any time, in any place, through-out your day. You can meditate while exercising on the treadmill, lying in bed, cooking dinner, driving in your car, any time, any place.

Meditation, introspection, seeing with your third eye, is simply put, being in a place of calm, non-judgmental, loving awareness.

It is appreciating life, and all that you have to behold, within it. It is perceiving the world with your sixth sense. It is always being aware of the blessing that is your life. Always.

This means, that while you are completely immersed, within whatever your current task may be, a part of you is always objectively observing, both the task, environment, people, and most importantly, yourself, within it.

Not so easy to do all the time, hence, the standard ‘yogi/om’ meditation process.

Remember though, this is a guide to help you get to the point where you can ‘meditate’ in every living, breathing moment of your life. It is a learning ground, an educational process, one may choose as a vehicle to learn who they are, and open the eyes of their ego to the loving eyes of their soul.

Time on your own, spent contemplating and meditating, essentially any and all forms of introspection, are your divine blessing, your door to a life of bliss and happiness, as directed by soul’s love.

Here are some exercises you may incorporate:

§first thing in the morning, as soon as you wake, write, uninterrupted, for at least 5 minutes.

§for one week, at least once every day, try to remove yourself, look through your mind’s eye at the situation you find yourself within, and be both the objective observer and active participant.

4. Be objective. Think with your heart and feel with your mind.

As we just saw in #3, always be an observer. And ‘how’ does one accomplish such a seemingly unnatural, detached state of being, you ask.
§Do not fully succumb all your being, intellect, and emotion to the situation.

§Always be aware of yourself, in any given situation.
Am I being perceived in a positive light? Am I emanating positive regard for myself and those around me?
Watch yourself as you do when you think that someone whom you really want to impress, is watching you. Or as the saying goes, act as though god is walking by your side.

§And if you can, remember that we are each divine beings, we are each aspects of ‘god’/love/divinity.

As such, you no longer perceive being watched by a ‘god’ unseen. Even when catching a glimpse of yourself in a mirror, watching yourself is ‘god’, an aspect of you!

§Be kind. Be generous. Be loving.

§Be aware. Be careful. Pay attention.

§Be considerate. Act with compassion.

§When you have a feeling, think about it first, before you express it. And when you express your feeling, this now analyzed thought form, do so with love.

**It IS important to note, our ‘need to be’ so deliberately conscious at all times in this now IS BEcause we are in ‘training mode’, ‘teaching/learning mode’ on how to face our fears and BE LOVE.  Once we have had enough practise, as with all things in life, BEing LOVE will BEcome second nature [though TRUEly it IS our primary, authentic nature….] and our dedicated, devoted, deliberate attention to so BEing shall no longer BE required, it will simply, BE.

Always remember, your every action, your every spoken word, even facial expressions, are affecting someone else. You are a composite of attracted energy molecules, and as such your every thought, action, and feeling are propelling some composite form of energy out into the Universe.
Make sure that the affect you have on this universe is a positive one of love.

Think with your heart and feel with your mind.

Personal Legend

5. Find your Personal Legend, and then Fulfill it. {see essay “Personal Legend”}

Your Personal Legend is that which you enjoy the most, it is your greatest gift, both given by and shared with, the Universe.

I am an effective communicator, and I utilize this gift within my Ontological Writing, web T.V. Broadcasting through BEing LOVE T.V., and enLIGHTenment Guidance//WHOLEistic Life Coaching. This is my Personal Legend, the Universal blessing I have been given to enhance the earth school. I use my Personal Legend to fulfill our collective purpose;

to serve humanity in love and goodwill, to reconstruct and regenerate an earth school whose inhabitants live and create life within and by the love of soul.

This is our collective purpose. We are all responsible. How we fulfill this purpose is our own individual gift to one another. You must find your gift and then do all you can to fulfill it.

As a communications specialist for over a decade, I used to work in corporate industries, non-profit communities, and with Canadian artisans of every medium. I have promoted all. Some, more meaningful than others. Some, allowing me greater participation within the collective purpose, than others. And yet, as dedicated to their cause as I was, I was not fulfilling my own, as I am now. 😉

We must each fulfill our own Personal Legend.

How do you find your Personal Legend?

Introspection. While you are meditating, contemplating, spending time on your own, ask yourself what gift you and you alone have to give to this world. Not how you can help your spouse, partner, friend or family member accomplish their Personal Legend.
What gift do you have to offer unto humanity.
What is it that you are capable of doing that truly rewards you with feelings of sincere accomplishment?
What do you garner the most inspiration, meaning and enjoyment from?

Here’s an easy one, next time you’re having fun, be aware of the fact.
